How we measured this. Every figure on this page is pulled straight from the client’s Google Search Console and geo-grid rank scans, over a fixed 60-day window (Feb 20 – Apr 22, 2026). The charts are redrawn from that data rather than screenshotted, to protect the client’s identity, and we’ll happily walk any serious prospect through the raw dashboards on a call.

The starting point, a strong brand Google could not see

The client’s reputation offline was excellent: referrals, repeat buyers, a prime downtown location. Organic search was a different story. The baseline from Google Search Console:

  • Around 73 search impressions per month (effectively invisible
  • Average position ~32) page 4 of Google, where nobody looks
  • Only 8 pages earning any impressions at all
  • A handful of clicks per month, almost all from people searching the brand name
Bar chart of the top 10 pages by search impressions over 90 days, color-coded by strategy: highest performing, community pages in focus, pages already in the top 10, and wrong-intent traffic marked for rewrite
The baseline audit, every page with visibility, classified by what to do with it: push, protect, or rewrite. This is where the 60-day plan came from.

What we did in the first 60 days

  • Technical foundation first. Crawlability, indexation, internal linking and structured data (LocalBusiness, RealEstateAgent and FAQ schema): the plumbing that decides whether content can rank at all.
  • We let the data pick the strategy. A Search Console query audit showed that most searches reaching the site were long-tail and neighborhood-specific. So instead of generic blog posts, we built neighborhood pages that match how buyers actually search.
  • A content cluster around one pillar guide: a comprehensive buying guide supported by five in-depth articles, cross-linked and each carrying FAQ schema so both Google and AI assistants can cite them.
  • Local SEO: Google Business Profile optimization, a steady review system, and geo-grid rank tracking that measures map rankings point-by-point across the city instead of guessing.

And on the map: #3 in downtown Naples

Map-pack rankings are measured with geo-grid scans: dozens of GPS points across the city, each checked individually. At the first full scan, the client held position 3 in Google’s map pack at the heart of downtown Naples, exactly where their buyers stand when they search. The wider-map footprint was still small at that point, which is normal early on: the ongoing work (reviews, citations, profile activity) is designed to turn the rest of the map green, and monthly re-scans track that progress honestly.

Why this worked, and why a lot of SEO does not

Nothing here was guesswork. Every decision came from verified data, the query audit decided the content strategy, the geo-grid scan decided the local priorities, and the monthly reports show the same dashboards we look at: small numbers included. That last part matters: 543 impressions a month is not a big number, and we say so. What matters at day 60 is the trajectory, because SEO compounds, the foundation that ranks long-tail queries today is what pushes high-volume commercial keywords into the top 10 in months three to six.
